Very thick and plush and soft. Nice nonslip underneath.I really like the rug. It’s so soft and just the right thickness for my laundry area. Just wish they sold it in a runner’s length of 3 x 8. Need 2 for my hallway and kitchen. Just received the 3 x 5 and it’s perfect for my laundry room. Obviously, I haven’t washed it yet, so can’t comment as to how it will hold up. Don’t hesitate to buy, you will love the softness of this rug.Beautiful color- matches my kitchen exactly. So soft to stand on! It is so much better than the old kitchen mats I had.
