I love this rug SO much. Unfortunately, so does my daughter's brand new puppy. So far he hasn't peed on it (thank God), but he has left a number of tiny solid presents. Thankfully, they have cleaned up very easily. The washing instructions scare me, but I will give them a go when the time comes. Meanwhile, this soft, fluffy rug under my feet every morning has made getting out of bed more bearable.This is a double pelt. I have alot of sheepskin rugs and this one is so thin. I'm using it on my recliner seat. Buy from another seller. Very disappointed.Use it alongside my bed. Looks great on my gorgeous parquet floors.I had to return because it was so beautiful for my dogs. I was afraid they would ruin it. It is well made and the color was vibrant. Very classy.thank you.......We hung it on the wall to hide wires to our wall mounted TV. Love the color and softness. ?Beautiful! So soft and thick. I bought "Faux" sheepskin rugs previously thinking that they would be easier to keep clean, etc. Well they may be 1/3 of the cost but they do not wash or dry clean well (yes I bought two sets before learning!). These are so much nicer!! I haven't needed to clean them yet but I am hopeful that the care instructions are accurate. Fingers crossed!After speaking over the phone with the seller, I was confident in this purchase for my SPD son. They do not use harsh chemicals or dyes in the process. It is from New Zealand and the only use in Vietnam is for shipping. My son hasn't been diagnosed yet for Autism but he is in the process. He is super sensitive to all things sensory and Amazon feedback isn't the place to give specific details on his condition but I will write that when he fist touched it- which was willingly- he smiled and asked to sleep on it. When he laid down on it and I covered him- he was calm and smiling. In the pic I provided he is calm and holding his door (his obsession is doors and windows). He even set his door down to hold the fur. For other mommies and papas with spd/autistic kids you know that willingly touching a new fabric and setting down an obsessive item is huge and super encouraging! I am so grateful to have such a quality item that is affordable for my special needs son. His older sister received one as well as is now pretending to be a sheep. Fun for everyone! The ONLY negative is that the brand/info sticker on the pelt was a pain to get off and pulled some of the felt - not damaging it but blemishing the unity -but if the skin is down it will not be noticeable. A super fun detail is that all of the fur is combed out but there were a few strands that were wavy and had a slight curl- I LOVED that. There was no odor at all which is great! I expected an animal smell which is better than chlorine or dioxin which is what competitors use in their process. There is no noticeable seam in the middle on the top where the two pelts are gathered. I am soooo satisfied!It was delivered to my son’s home in another city. My daughter-in-law says he’ll really like it
