Very thick and plush and soft. Nice nonslip underneath.I really like the rug. It’s so soft and just the right thickness for my laundry area. Just wish they sold it in a runner’s length of 3 x 8. Need 2 for my hallway and kitchen. Just received the 3 x 5 and it’s perfect for my laundry room. Obviously, I haven’t washed it yet, so can’t comment as to how it will hold up.
