I bought this because my old bath mat was getting a bit discolored and moldy, due to it being the old-style type with the medium length carpet-fuzz to take care of the drying. I've had it for a couple of years and decided it was time to retire it. I didn't want to get the same kind of old bathmat because it felt like it became dirty too fast (grimy really) and so I searched Amazon for a solution. Although I felt a little silly looking for an 'advanced' bathmat, of all things, I stumbled upon this 'memory foam, microfiber bath rug' and thought, "yes, I deserve this--I've worked hard over the last few years and I SHOULD have something really nice to put my feet on after the shower"--yes, seriously, this is what I thought. I took the chance that this could be as nice as I imagined and I wasn't disappointed.First, the mat arrived the next day, which was pretty amazing to me (I ordered this the early morning the day before). I figured this was a good sign since the seller (E-Marketing Solutions? I guess) was on the ball. I took the mat out and immediately started walking on it and honestly I don't think my feet were ready for the kind of luxury soft bounciness this mat gave. It felt a little weird but I couldn't stop walking on it--it is springy and soft, and because it is memory foam it's like your feet get a little hug with each step; the microfibers (I assume) enhance this softness pretty noticeably, like cool plush against your feet. My dog came and sat and lay on it for most of the afternoon that I left it in the living room (I wanted my roommate to walk on it), claiming it was hers (the dog's, I mean). This was kind of a testament to the softness of this mat, as my dog is quite the little princess--especially when it comes to something soft to put her big, furry butt on.Eventually, I moved this into the bathroom to test its absorbent-ness(?). The microfibers really do absorb all the water and the mat does dry in about 30 minutes to an hour, which was actually pretty cool to me. I've used this now for about 3 weeks and I no longer have to deal with that terrible moldy feeling on my feet, or discolored bathmat to gross out my guests. The dog still comes in the sit on the mat to watch me brush my teeth and floss, etc... so I'm thinking I'm probably going to buy one more of these just for her. Yes, she's spoiled, but she's worth it.Oh yeah -- the choice of colors is awesome. I got midnight blue for the first one and it's basically a very dark blue--almost blue/black. I like this color because it's cool and fits the soft 'coolness' of the mat. I'm pretty satisfied with this, and the other plus was that I think it's going to make a relatively affordable and enjoyable dog-bed as well. If they made this affordable and in a huge living room size, I'd probably get one--now that's an idea!This is exactly what I have been looking for for years. I live in an old house that is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It’s hard to find floor coverings that are not thick and sweaty or that get damn near frozen during winter. This thing is as soft as a babies ass. It also stays cool in the summer and is actually an enjoyable feeling for my tootsies as I handle my business. I got throw up sick not to long ago and I gotta tell ya it is wonderful on the knees and absorbed all the pee from the dry heaving. Also it is so easy to clean. U can spot treat or just throw it in the washer with tons of detergent to get ride of all the pee and puke. Would 1million% recommend to everyone.love my old one, so has anyone ever taking a shower at my place, but replacing boring beige! nice soft rugs, compares to the memory foam rugs seen in stores. someone in review stated emerald was much darker in person so took a chance, but it is pretty similar in person as shown on my MacAir- maybe slightly darker & a little more blue than pictured- looks a little deeper brighter Pantone Blue Turquoise, definitely not a true green.plum 24x60, sent folded/flattened fine, but it is a bright purple, more pink tone. looks like Pantone Purple Orchid on floor, but the darker color created when you run fibers in different direction- swatch comparison reads closer to a lighter version (tint) of Pantone Tillandsia Purple- but it looks nowhere near that color looking at it on the floor! compared to the purple one in BBB, theirs is a muted toned purple; this is more orchid bright cheery girly color. shows darker on my computer, i was wanting Dark Purple- this is nowhere close.neither emerald or plum are bad colors, just brighter & cheerier that the deeper colors i wanted & hoped for because i know what you see in a computer picture is not always what you get. resorted to online because i can't find what i want in a store so far... search is still on!Okay so I bought one of the memory foam bathroom runners and LOVE IT. Comfortable, clean and looks really good so decided to get a smaller one for the front of the shower. I found this one and although other reviews mentioned the color, I went ahead with the Sand Pearl thinking it would better match to the other runner. Boy was I wrong! I HATE pink in any shade and this is light pink. Not sure where "sand" fits in but definitely not in this color. Don't get me wrong, the rug is good, not quite the quality of the runner but does the job and feels good. The color though is disgusting. The rug is pretty light so if you get it folded, it will take some stomping or standing on to smooth it out. Very reasonably priced though so these small issues are easily overlooked. I am going to replace it with another color and put this one in the garage or something. These rugs/bathmats are pretty awesome.After using this product for several weeks, my feet wrote me a heart-felt message:We used to think you didn't care about us. When you got yourself a memory foam mattress, every other part of the body get to sleep on it but us. Sure the ankles sleep on it sometimes, but we're not ankles. We work too hard carrying you places and let you stand on us to miss out on that memory foam action.We admit that we were quite upset and jealous. And getting trapped in shoes most of the day, everyday, didn't help.But boy, did you ever redeem yourself when you got this memory foam rug. We couldn't believe how soft and comfortable this rug feels. And we did notice you've been taking more showers, which we do not mind at all. Because more showers - more memory foam action for us.All the other body parts still look down at us everyday, but guess who's now jelly of us every time you finish showering? Yup. All we gotta say is haters gonna hate, especially the ankles.We want to sincerely thank you and work harder than ever as your dedicated transporters. Whatever happened in the past... we're cool now.- Your feetThis memory foam bath mat was perfect. It's soft to the touch, very absorbant (yet dries quickly!) and durable. It was easy to wash and still retained its features. The color was just as shown in the photos. Very happy with this productI ordered these mats in "Midnight Blue." I received mats in "Sky Blue." Wasn't impressed, sent them back. Won't re-order, as these types of errors are somewhat of a warning sign to me. If the company can't get the colour right, not willing to take a chance on the quality. Alas, I had looked quite a long time for mats for my kitchen.my family loves how soft this bath rug is, and how comfortable the cushion is when stepping on it. It is super easy to clean and it's the perfect size for our RV Washroom.
